Best hamburgers around! Get the PB&J wings, they are amazing! The crab Rangoon is second to none, the drink specials are delicious and refreshing! The staff is great. Especially when Jean is there, she gives out free lottery tickets and Canadian Twonee coins! This is a hidden gem in metro detroit, the food is excellent, the prices are outstanding! Wrap your lips around the Coaches meat, the steak is amazing, the hamburgers are the best, and the corned beef will blow your mind!
Atmosphere was good, this would be a great spot for a beer prior to getting a meal! Had the salmon beet salad, it tasted great! Overall good vibes, friendly service but service was really slow Would come back again!
To describe this place in a word, it's Cozy. You walk in, and it feels like you're part of the show Cheers. Service is extremely friendly and the food was to die for. We had the Red Shrimp and Crab Hot Dish, Coach's Burger, Mushroom and Swiss Burger, Garlic Fries, a Painkiller cocktail, and the Black Forest Cake to go. Everything tasted absolutely divine, and came quicker than you'd expect. This place feels like the embodiment of Midwestern Charm, great food to fill your belly, and a smile on every server to make you feel at home. A definite recommend for anyone who passes through.
Coach Grille is primarily known for its burgers, though specials, such as lamb chops and braised rabbit, are occasionally available. The staff is efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. To start, the split pea soup and onion rings are both solid choices. The soup is made in-house, and the panko-breaded onion rings were crispy and firm. I happened to dine in when lamb chops were on special. They were meaty and cooked just right. As for the burgers, Coach sources its meat from Fairway Packing Co. and its buns from Cannelle by Matt Knio. I’ve tried the All American and the Coach burger. The All American features standard toppings, while the Coach burger is topped with an egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a special sauce. Of the two, I preferred the Coach burger, though both were enjoyable. The French fries are hand cut and on the thicker side. The Cajun fries had just the right amount of seasoning, and the garlic fries were well complemented by the cotija cheese and garlic aioli. Fries are not included with any of the handhelds. For dessert, I’ve had the peanut butter cheesecake. It was rich, with a brownie-like crust. Coach Grille shouldn’t be compared to the average bar. While the menu features typical bar food, the quality is well above the norm. Whether you come here for a burger, or something else, you won’t be disappointed.
What a wonderful place! The menu generally consists of Wagu burgers (flawless) stellar sandwiches, pizzas (perfect), dinner and side salads (big) soup, appetizers, and a couple of entrees. All of it is incredibly good. Be sure to try the Tempura Asparagus. It’s a favorite. Service is provided by one or two people jetting around taking care of people, and they are always cheerful, accommodating, and mindful. The atmosphere is strictly “Cheers”. Lot of folks know each other, and we often see people we e seen before. No need to dress up or dress down, either. Come as you are. We will keep coming back!
My husband and I Came in for dinner about 715. Your restaurant was recommended by our son and his girlfriend who had been there A few times before and earlier the same day. My review is based on all four of us are experience, the quality and the deliciousness of the food. The atmosphere of my husband and I were there the bar was shared by regulars who were by all measures, enjoying their life.!! Super friendly, kind people!! I ordered the all-American burger. My husband ordered the bone and chicken wings. We shared an order of fries that were handmade and enough for at least three people.. Best burger and fries I’ve ever had. We met the owner. I thought she was just the bartender like an employee her smile was cheerful and contagious 🙂She was amazing, energetic kind, great conversation shared her and her husband’s experience of opening this restaurant she’s pure joy. Her laugh is from her Soul very genuine. She interacted with her guests, which she treated more like friends and family. I seen Jean give an older gentleman a hug(very heartfelt). 100% impressed! A waitress V… Victoria /veronica.. Was great as well very kind nice smile. We dined in. We went from a table to the bar so we could watch the game. Pistons were playing. My husband says I never finish my food. I’m always taking it home last night. I eat every bite. I was super full halfway through my burger, but it was so good. I needed to finish it even the pickle was delicious. I have to say it again best burger I’ve ever had. I had the all-American burger as is no takeaways no add-ons. Great job by all Thank you for a wonderful night and making our dinner. Look forward to the next time. And the pricing the way it tasted I would’ve expected to pay double… But we didn’t, and when the bill came, Jean, the owner(!!!) Served on a cute plate, a couple cookies and caramels that she made herself!! Fantastic. Oh my gosh and soup she made tomato soup herself. I’m not sure if it was on the menu. I think it was but she gave me a little taste in a small bowl and it was amazing as well. Jean and her husband Have made an outstanding experience for all(I didn’t catch your husband‘s name) 10/10 We had a great experience Dean and Angie
The food here is unbelievably good.. I’d eat here every day if I still lived in Warren. They switched to fries cooked in beef tallow, and that alone is enough to keep me coming back! The beet salad with salmon was really good too! And the veggie beef noodle soup is to die for. PLEASE bring back the Kobe steak!
Not usually one to leave reviews but the food was fantastic! I like to consider myself a bit of a Reuben connoisseur, and this honestly may have been the best I’ve ever had. Fries were awesome as well, taste homemade, and the service was very friendly, nice modern environment, good local beers on tap. Overall a fantastic experience, I will definitely be coming back!
